Where to get Mexican food for breakfast?

 

Emilio’s
Mom and Pop Breakfast and Lunch Stop

 

This is my new favorite secret spot to take my friends. Emilio’s Restaurant tucked away in the historic Main Ave. mall between 8th and 9th Street. This hidden treasure serves breakfast and lunch 7 days a week from 7:00 am – 4:00pm. Rumor has it they will be serving dinner soon.
 
Emilio’s has a casual Mexican theme but the menu offers a wide variety of cuisine styles. This is a great spot for a group of diners with varying tastes. For breakfast you could enjoy a traditional Mexican dish like my personal favorite, Huevos Ranchero or indulge in an American classic like eggs made to order, bacon and a short stack of pancakes! Lunch offers combination dishes, sandwich melts and pasta dishes.

 

Whatever suits your flavor, be prepared to leave with a full stomach!

 

For Durango folk on the go, grab a monstrous burrito (for $4.75) that even the most dedicated chow hound would have a hard time finishing alone!   For lunch they have a wide variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, traditional Mexican dishes and even pasta.  All around $10 or less per plate.

 

Love their fresh chips and salsa!

 

With Jose on the grill and Leticia waiting on customers, you will always get that delicious home cooked flavor and service with a warm smile!
