Real estate foreclosures are on the rise in Durango, just like the rest of the country. See Saturday’s Durango Herald Article, click here. There were 297 foreclosure actions in La Plata Country for 2009 and 45 through February. However, most foreclosed homes do not end up selling at auction. This can be a frustrating fact for buyers trying to buy a home a the courthouse steps.
